Singapore pledges to improve cyber security

SINGAPORE – To mark the country’s first Awareness Day on Cybersecurity, local government, industry and the online community have come together to renew their commitment to cultivate a secure Web environment.

Held here today with the Seminar of Information Security, the event is sponsored by the Cyber ​​Security Awareness Alliance, established in April 2008 to increase online awareness and push for greater accountability of users, such the adoption of stronger passwords.
